Barrel racing is such a high speed, precision event where saddle fit is of utmost importance. Our saddles are built on our Texas Barrel Racer tree that has a 4” cantle and various horn styles. The bars on the full-QH tree measure 6 ¾” across and the gullet is 8” tall. We also build saddles on semi-QH bars as well. We worked closely with our tree maker to design a tree that is very versatile in fitting a variety of horses. We’ve had a good response from our customers that this tree can fit several different horses simply by changing and adjusting your pads. These trees are made out of wood, reinforced with fiberglass, and coated in Armor coat to ensure strength and toughness. Additionally, we are able to custom order trees. We’ve got a casting kit that customers can use to create a cast of their horse’s back, and our tree maker uses the cast to build a tree especially for your horse. This is perfect for those hard-to-fit-horses.
Our barrel saddles have a close contact design on the skirts to eliminate bulk and allow the fenders to move freely. We have also added a hobblestrap that attaches to the stirrup leathers and bars that prevents your feet from getting behind you. We have recently come up with some exclusive, unique tooling and design patterns that make our barrel saddles look like none other. If you’re looking for a barrel saddle that performs as good as it looks, this is the saddle for you.
